What is it?
Day-care keyhole surgery for ACL/PCL/multi-ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and meniscus repair. Arthroscopic — not robotic.
ACL and PCL reconstruction rebuild torn cruciate ligaments using a hamstring or patellar tendon graft. Multi-ligament reconstruction addresses combined injuries (e.g. ACL + MCL or ACL + PCL + posterolateral corner). Cartilage injuries are repaired or reconstructed via microfracture, OATS or matrix-induced cartilage techniques. Meniscal tears are repaired (preferred when possible) rather than removed, preserving the joint. All are performed arthroscopically as day-care procedures.

The procedure

- ACL/PCL/multi-ligament: graft harvested, tunnels drilled, graft fixed with bio-absorbable or metal screws
- Meniscus repair: stitched with all-inside or inside-out sutures (rather than removed)
- Cartilage: microfracture, OATS plug, or scaffold-based repair as appropriate
